Description

A careful balance between form and refinement of materials, Sled adds its composite and  distinctive design to the ‘iContemporanei‘ Cassina collection.
The Sled range includes sofas that can be used as unique, two or three-seater pieces. The two-seater version is also available with a coffee table option or with a cushioned isle, either to the left or right of the seat.

The Sled's back and armrests are in open pore black ash plywood. This powerful and expressive sofa fits perfectly in the centre of the room. It is helped in this by a carefully designed back support, which also features a shelf, to which drawers and/or further shelves can be added.

The Sled has an internal steel structure, with CFC-free polyurethane foam, different density inserts, and polyester padding.
The seat cushions rest on an aluminium frame finished in black lacquer and supported by elastic straps.
The back cushions are also available with a reclinable headrest for greater comfort and flexibility.
The legs are die-cast aluminium painted in matt black.
