Nurturing and supporting Australasian design is one of Corporate Culture's key values. To reinforce these values, Corporate Culture launched the Corporate Culture Design Journey competition in 2004.
 
Design Journey offers designer’s the opportunity to create a new product that will compliment Corporate Culture's existing collection.
 
THE BRIEF
Design a suspended LED lighting pendant, which fulfils the needs for both residential and commercial use. The pendant needs to be glare free with use of internal reflector(s) or similar. 
 
THE ENTRY CRITERIA
The winning entry will be judged on:
  • Originality
  • Aesthetics
  • Functionality
  • Alignment with existing Corporate Culture collection
  • Overall presentation
  • Environmental consideration (materials, manufacturing and end of life)

THE WINNER
The winner will have the unique opportunity to travel to Copenhagen to meet with Rolf Hay founder of Hay and Christian Rasmussen, Head of Design Fritz Hansen.  Their product will be prototyped and exhibited in Corporate Culture showrooms nationally, and will hopefully be the next designer to be supported, manufactured and marketed under license by Corporate Culture Australia.
 
All entries will be exhibited at the Design Journey event at a Corporate Culture showroom and one design will also be awarded the People's Choice Award on the night. All finalists will also have their work displayed on www.corporateculture.com.au and www.corporateculture.co.nz
 
THE FINE PRINT
Terms and Conditions: The competition is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents. Competition commences on 17.08.2012 and closes 07.12.2012. Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Flight to Copenhagen must be used within 6 months from the date that the competition is won. 
 
Corporate Culture accepts no responsibility for late entries, entries not received for any reason (including postage or technical problems) or out-dated or incorrect contact details or contact details by which the entrant cannot be contacted on the relevant dates. Corporate Culture reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if Corporate Culture determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. 
 
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner will be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by Corporate Culture in its absolute discretion. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, Corporate Culture reserves the right to cancel, vary or postpone the competition and/or disqualify any individual at any time. 
 
No responsibility will be taken by Corporate Culture for any changes in dates or times or other arrangements that may prevent the winners from winning any of the prizes. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Corporate Culture then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 
 
Corporate Culture reserves the right to manufacture and market more than one entry. All entries remain the property of Corporate Culture Australia Pty Ltd unless until the successful designer has been chosen.
